Transition to iA for current plan members
Are you already a member of the group retirement savings plans offered by your employer? Transitioning to iA is really simple, as you only need to activate your member account according to the procedure below.
I am already a member of a plan provided by my employer. I need to activate my account in My Client Space.
How to activate your account
The activation key specified in the letter from iA Financial Group activates the online access to your group retirement savings plans. If you have not yet activated your My Client Space account, we invite you to do so now at ia.ca/myaccount.
- If you have the activation key you were sent by mail, click on Activate your account in My Client Space below, enter your personal information, check the I have my activation key box and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you do not have your activation key, you can get one by clicking on Activate your account in My Client Space below, entering your personal information, checking the I want to get my activation key box and following the on-screen instructions. Upon receipt of your activation key, click on Activate my account in My Client Space below, enter your personal information, check the I have my activation key box and follow the on-screen instructions. You may also call our Customer Service line at 1-800-567-5670 to request your activation key.
Transfer of your assets to iA
For all the details about and how and when your assets will be transferred from Great-West Life to iA Financial Group, go to the Messages from your employer tab.
